The bread that my sandwich was on was wet. The place is very dirty. The floor, the windows, the ceiling tiles stained and a/c vents filthy. I don't understand that that just don't give it a good scrubbing. A great location and nice staff. But I will never go back.

You know what I hate about reading reviews that say a place is friendly? When you arrive and the wait staff is "having a bad day" or "not at the top of their game". We were dissapointed. The place was not as clean as many local diners in the area and the food was so-so. I'll be back cause I support the small businesses, but I hope I don't get that same tough roast beef and Debbie Downer treatment.

PERFECT place for lunch! (although they're a bit slow at times - but i guess that means they're making your food fresh). they have anything from salads and soups to wraps and sandwiches, hot or cold. they have the basic turkey or ham sandwiches/wraps, but they also have seafood ones as well. i had the ahi tuna wrap, and it was quite delicious. this place reminds me of hawaii. it has that casual/beachy vibe. the fish and chips basket was ginormous and the fish(grouper) was nice and flaky, and served steaming hot. the menu is extensive and you'll for sure find something to your liking. they even have gyro wraps, which were actually pretty good. in addition to the tables they have inside, they have many tables outside and there are misters so you won't get too hot during the summer. or you can sit at the counter if you just want a quick meal or milkshake. i'm getting hungry thinking about this place!

Great place for good food. I stumbled in today by seeing a sign on US-1. Ordered the crispy grouper salad and found a little bit of heaven. Barbara was great and made sure my iced tea was always full. Highly recommended.

Great place! Ate there for breakfast and loved it! The food was great, the staff was courteous and friendly and the atmosphere is really cool with all sorts of eclectic pictures and signs on the wall. The 2 egg breakfast special is a great deal at $4.50, but if you're looking for a little something more try the French Special (potatoes, melted cheese, sausage gravy, eggs and toast), freaking delicious!!! Update. I still really like this place, but the last few times I've been there, the service has been a little slower and less friendly. Also, the last two times I've been there for breakfast on Saturdays people have walked in literally a minute or two after 11am and servers refused to let them order breakfast and those people have left. I mean, I know the people there are working hard and it is supposed to end at 11am, but seriously would it really be that hard to whip up a few extra eggs at 11:02 vs. 10:59? Just leaves a bad impression.

Great sandwiches! Try the crunchy grouper wrap. Also, best key lime pie I've ever had!

Stopped in for lunch today and we really enjoyed it. We started off with a basket of fried pickle spears which were a nice change from the chips that most places offer. They were excellent and I recommended them to another couple in the restaurant that asked about them, and they agreed. My lady had a grilled chicken sandwich with added bacon and cheese which she proclaimed excellent. I had a wrap with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, brie, and apricot aioli which was really tasty and seemed very fresh. The service was friendly and quick. Glad to see this place is still around and I'll definitely return soon.

Great location. Slow service and tons of flies (yuk). Not very clean and use bathrooms at your own risk. Prices moderates for the area. Food not bad.

Cathy's Beach Connection, aka The French, is the best! It is the epitome of a 'beach casual joint'. The wait staff have all been there for years & it has a fun, friendly & family feel about it. The food is consistently delicious and they have $1 & $2 draft beers! Whether you're going for breakfast or lunch, this place is a must!

Great little spot that's hidden off A1A in Juno Beach. A little hard to find, but call them and they'll guide you right in. Not a huge place, but the food is phenomenal. I had the California wrap and it was so great. More outdoor space than in, and great, friendly staff. Great lunch spot for beach goers.

Breakfast was spectacular! The crab eggs benedict were the special & they were heavenly. The hollaindaise sauce was unique. The hubby ordered the blueberry pancakes...they were huge and succulent. Would definitely come back here.. I hear the crunch grouper is to die for....guess I'll have to come back for lunch or dinner!

First time here and I enjoyed it! It has a Hollywood beach type feel. Cute little place with great staff and service. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. They have water misters outside and the restroom was clean. :) no complaints here! if I am ever in the area again, I would like to stop by and try other menu items.

This simple beach themed diner has been around for years, changing ownership a few times. I've been coming to Cathys for years, and always overlooked the run down feel of the place to get my favorite crunchy grouper sandwich. Over the years I have sometimes ventured out of my comfort zone and gotten a chowder or appetizer, but there has never been anything that was quite as delicious as the grouper sandwich and for the $12.99 price, it was a decent deal. However, with the price of grouper being so expensive, they have now switched to a white fish. I completely understand the business decision, but they kept the price at $12.99 which to me seems expensive when Dune Dog serves a similar but more delicious white fish sandwich for more than $5 less. Beers are still cheap here though. Yay!

Diner type spot. Fries are great and beers are cheap! Disappointed with burger...gristle and frozen taste. Reminded me of walmart bubba burgers...yuck. Scallops smelled and looked horrible on our neighbors table. Go for a blt, fries, and beer, that would be safe.

Inexpensive food & drinks steps from the beach. Very casual feel. This is more of a lunch spot than anything. Indoor & covered patio seating available. It'd be great if it had a view of the ocean, but alas it's blocked by trees, etc. Lots of parking available. Fine dining? No. Great ambiance? No. Friendly service? Yes.

Good food, snarky waitress. When I asked why I only got one piece of toast while others at the table got 2, she said I don't make the food...I just bring it! Too many other good breakfast places nearby without an attitude.

A good, casual beach sorta place, tho not exactly on the beach. Comfortable large porch with seating, $1 beers, happy hour seemingly forever. Worth a try. The Crusted Grouper sandwich was really good.

I stopped here on the way to Juno beach once I realized that I'd run out of restaurant options heading north. I see a lot of good reviews, which are probably because of the service, which was fine. But if the patrons sat inside and watched their food being prepared I'm sure they would be as appalled as I was. NO ONE (not cooks, not servers/cashiers, not anyone) EVER washed their hands. The servers/cashiers handled clean plates, dirty plates, money, silverware, cups, touched doors, etc. the cooks don't wear gloves, and they are also touching a variety of things. I'm not a germaphobe, but I believe that there should be a certain degree of cleanliness when dealing with food.

Cathy's Beach Connection is the kind of place that typifies local Florida. There's a big deck and the bathrooms are outside, so if you just came from the beach you can cleanup without tracking sand inside. It's small so go at odd times. The food is surprisingly sophisticated and upscale. You'll even find escargot on the appetizer menu. Most of their business is breakfast and lunch, but they do serve dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For lunch I went with the basic sliders and fries, which came with lettuce, tomato and onion. My only ding on the sliders is that to really be considered sliders the onions should be caramelized. Outside that tiny infraction they were excellent, so I stopped short of reporting them to the International Slider Standards Committee. The portions are big, the prices are reasonable and the beer is ice cold, another Florida tradition. If you want to hang out at a true beach burger joint, stop by Cathy's Beach Connection and pull up a stool.

Actually this place is great, a local eatery with made to order food in a beach friendly style. Nice! Barbara is working the night shift today, and taking care of everybody.

Love this place!! When we drive down from Atlanta, we always have breakfast here once or twice while we are here. We've had lunch as well. Both are fantastic!!!

This is a tough one and here's why. We had the best fish tacos I've ever eaten at this place and I've eaten quite a few fish tacos over the years. I just couldn't get over the dirty appearance of the restaurant. We sat inside and were constantly buzzed by flies and I seriously considered walking out. The place-mats and just about everything else had a dirty appearance. I wouldn't go back because of the gross out factor but if you're brave, go for it and have the best fish tacos of your life. Let the force be with you!

If you golf at jupiter dunes, they give you a $20 certificate for here..pretty much paid for lunch. Cute place with friendly staff. Generous portions!!!

I have eaten here before and enjoyed it. This time the food was good, probably three to four stars. I had fish and chips--3 stars..my wife had a grilled fish sandwich, which she said was very good...give it 4. However, it was a fairly busy time with most of the tables taken (but not all). The wait time for our food was over 40 minutes. Completely unacceptable. It was not that we were served out of order, others had the same wait. They simply were not able to handle a normal lunch crowd for some reason. The servers said nothing, no "sorry it has taken so long". I just don't accept that level of service.

Thumbs up on the food, but the setting was a little too bar like for Sat morning breakfast for us. Smokers welcome. No waiting for a table at 9:30am. Great breakfast potatoes & potato soufflé. We both enjoyed the breakfast wrap.

Little hole-in-the-wall place with decent food and good value. I've eaten here for three years now (3 Springs). Previously, it seemed like Cathy's just got overflow business from people who didn't want to wait at another restaurant around the corner (which I can't remember the name of). Recently, though, it seems like people are coming there as their primary choice. Crunchy grouper sandwich is the goto dish there, but I also like their fish & chips. I hear they have a decent breakfast but I don't get up early enough to eat that meal during vacation. There isn't much seating there, maybe a little more outside than inside, but not by much. A neat touch is the plastic sandwich bags full of water they hang up outside next to the tables. Evidently, they're there to ward off flying insects. Not many flying bugs out in March, so I don't know how effective they really are. We ordered carry-out this time and gave them over half an hour to put it all together. We still had to wait another 15 min for the order. There were over 10 meals in the order, and the place was packed (even though it was almost 7:00 pm). So the wait may not have been too bad actually. We just had a beer and sat down when a table opened outside. My order was a little messed up but that might have been done by the person who called in the order. With 10 meals, it was quite a feat. I was supposed to get two sides but only got one. No big deal because what I has really filled me up. If you're looking for a very casual hole-in-the-wall place with good food, try Cathy's.

Still one of my favorite places to go after 20 years+ years (used to be the French Connection), but I think the quality of food has slipped a bit. Lunch entrees are much better than breakfast. The HAC sandwich and crunchy grouper are my favorite things on the menu. If you haven't been, you must go. It's a Juno Beach tradition...a little slice of paradise.

Don't go here if you are a law abiding citizen with a disability or service animal. I was just refused outdoor service on the patio with my registered, papered service dog.

I am a person looking for an in-expensive meal and a cold drink that is good and is delivered to me with local friendly service. Oh and I want to go somewhere with an ocean breeze and sit outside or inside. Ok perfect! Come to Cathy's Beach Connection. They have really good and fresh food. I personally like any of their wraps but have not had anything bad here. My wife and I could not make up our minds one night driving around Juno Beach and we always forget how much we love this place. We sat outside and were greeted by someone who cares which is awesome! She explained some local beer they had on tap which we tried and loved and we got a pitcher for $8. Yep $8!!! We sat there and felt the breeze on our faces and had some great conversation. Then we both got some blackened fish wraps. While we were there a few other coulpes showed up and had the same idea as us. I always remember my wife's smile there. Come to Cathy's it is great local food in a cool spot. Enjoy what you eat and enjoy your life!

We discovered Cathy's a few years ago and we come for breakfast at least once when we vacation down here. It's such a cool little place. They've got a wonderful outdoor seating area. It's very kitschy; they must have gotten their dishes from a flea market because nothing matches but that's what makes the place so charming. Food was good too. My husband and I shared the blueberry pancakes and omelette special. Everyone raves about the potato soufflé that you can get as a side. The bacon was nice and crisp!

I have been going to Cathy's for many years, it is the best home town restaurant near the beach, the service is personal and very courteous, the food is awesome, wraps, sandwiches, great breakfasts and smoothies. Great place to meet friends you can eat outside or inside. Small and cozy place, got great reviews in the Palm Beach Post!!! Great for kids and families!!! You will not be disappointed!!!!

The single worst place I can recall to eat, after eating in hundreds of local places this place w a real dump. The service was cold and the food even worse, it no surprise it's in the hall of shame. if you need a great place try the nook it's a lot better.

We live close and with many good restaurants choices nearby this is our neighborhood go to spot. We eat here every week and a few times some weeks. Take out is easy. Grouper fingers, grouper sandwiches, wings, conch fritters, salads and many delicious breakfast items. Varied menu to suit everyone. And the ladies there are so great!

This is a great very friendly and casual "beach" restaurant. Has small indoor dining and larger outside deck dining. Sandwiches and wraps are the theme, and very good breakfast in the morning. I particularly enjoy the grouper wrap, the crab wrap and the crunchy grouper sandwich, but all in family enjoy all things tried to date. $1 draft beers and wine all day long - nice! Location is on the A1A side of the small strip that includes the popular Reef Grill (right next door). Also, get one of the $1 homemade gooey brownies to take with you. This place used to be called the "French Connection". Staff bought and changed name.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! My family and I ate there today, we sat right away and didn't get our food for over an hour. All we ordered were sandwiches, fries and a grilled chicken sandwich and still waited for over an hour after ordering. Then the waitresses were rude about it. HORRIBLE. DON"T GO THERE.
